Helping Widows
There are thousands of widows in Azad-Kashmir who find it vey difficult to survive and rely on donations.
Widows and their children are amongst the poorest members in Azad Kashmir. High illiteracy amongst women is one of the largest obstacles to development. It has also made it hard for women to earn a living and support their families. Many widows in the region are unable to financially support themselves and are left without resources after the death of their husbands. Very little help is available to them or their children.
Your donations support widows and their children to survive until they are able to stand on their own feet and earn a living.
Alhabib Welfare Foundation is also running several other projects. One of them is sewing machine project which will fund the training of widows in the use of sewing machines which will enable them to financially support themselves in the future.
