Orphan Sponsorship
Orphans are the most vulnerable of society who are targeted physically, psychologically and religiously. Firstly we provide them with adequate protection from such elements. The greatest contribution to the most disadvantaged (orphans and poor) of society is to provide them with love, care and the light of knowledge as well as worldly skills to make them self-sufficient.
Alhabib Welfare Foundation is running a ‘sponsor an orphan’ scheme in Kashmir. Donating just £250 a year, you would be providing food, accommodation, medical and education – for general as well as Islamic academia. For just £250 a year , you could change the life of a child today and lay the foundations for a more promising future.
Alhabibs charitable expenditure is reviewed and monitored by scholars to ensure the Zakah, Sadaqah, Lillah and Interest funds are spent correctly. Alhabib is transparent and accountable and has a full audit trail from the donor to the beneficiary. Alhabib is fully committed to a 100% donations policy. There is no deduction for administration or fundraising purposes.
The Prophet (Peace be upon him) has said: ‘The best house amongst the believers is the one in which an Orphan is treated well and the worst house amongst the believers is the one where an Orphan is mistreated.’
By sponsoring an orphan you will provide a child with the food, shelter, healthcare, education and emotional support they require. You will receive details about the child you are sponsoring as well as a photograph and an annual report on his or her progress.
